Attn: Fred

You might be correct but what is your point? The site is the site. It is not meant to throw a net over every human being.

Personnally I love being told what I want to hear. Sure beats the rest of my life. You might profit from visiting Dave personally at the Angelwitch and chatting with him about all the restrictions on material and format he has to work under. Under similiar circumstances I probably would not do what he is doing. I am glad he is doing it for me. The visuals have improved immensely, the amount of content has increased, and he is still at it when others would have quit. He needs some weekly anchor guest writers but that will come.

Hey Fred, what the hell are you trying to say? Dave is providing us all with a free information service. What the hell is wrong with that? A "much nastier world" sounds like where you're coming from man! Hey, if you don't like Dave's site then crawl back under the rock from where you came! Keep up the good job you are doing Dave. I like the new Pattaya Go-Go Bars listing, I will find that useful.

You guys... rubbing each others backs whilst telling the punters what they want to hear when there is a whole other, much nastier world under the surface.

Congratulations, Dave on your new pages. Your reviews of Nana and Cowboy are great. Your eyes must be popping out of your head after all that, though maybe you're used to it by now!

And thanks for mentioning my new book, MY THAI GIRL AND I.

It reads a bit like a novel and I hope it's funny but basically it's the story of how I met my wife Cat in Phuket and how we set up home together in her village in Isaan.

It's an easy read but I think it gives a pretty good picture of what it's like to try to reinvent oneself, to come to grips with a very different culture and to cope with all the agonies and ecstacy of a crazy cross cultural marriage. A handbook on retiring with a Thai lady? No, not exactly. I hope it's much more fun than that!

Cat's definitely the star of the story, slightly reluctantly, and we're now about to find out what the readers make of it. The book's only been in the shops a bit more than a week.

Keep raving!
