Thai Stocks Fall Amid Coup Fears

RIOT POLICE DEPLOYED IN BANGKOK

Due to the continuation of the anti-government protests and rumours of another military coup, the Thai stock market has fallen.  For the fifth consecutive trading day, Thai stocks have continued to fall.  Combined with food shortage fears and the rising costs of gas, the Thai people are becoming unsettled.  Clearly, there is unrest among certain anti-government factions in Bangkok.  Protesters remain defiant to demand that the Thai Prime Minister resigns.  The full story has been covered today by BBC NEWS
