Bars Closed In Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy

Due to a Buddhist Holiday the bars in Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy will not be allowed to sell alcohol on Monday, February 25th. Out of respect for the forthcoming Buddhist Holiday the majority of bars will be CLOSED.

Other bars and pubs with restaurant licenses can open, but apparently a strict NO ALCOHOL policy will be upheld. To the best of my knowledge, this is the current information that I have received. I suggest you plan accordingly.

And the same thing happens next Saturday because of the Bangkok governor elections. Happy holidays, folks.

That’s a headline to cause panic in the streets….. “closed” but not forever.. phew.
But if booze was needed, there’s help at hand with plenty of places discretely open including the usual “coffee” Singha’s in Patpong. 🙂
Back to notmal on the 26th, relief all around.

I guess next Sat. may be closed too? Is there a ban on alcohol sales for the Bkk Governor elections (and is that on Sat.?)?

    Cheers.

  3. Yes, you guessed it Nana Plaza is closed again on Saturday, March 2nd.
