Halloween Weekend In Thailand

Friday, October 29th, 2010

This year Halloween falls on Sunday (31/10/10) which means that Thailand will be enjoying a weekend of scary fun.  It’s that time of year, when the big boys and girls dress up and come out to play.  We can forget all the doom and gloom going on in the world and enjoy ourselves.  Furthermore, for some harmless adult fun there’s nowhere better to enjoy Halloween than Thailand’s bars, pubs and clubs.  Angelwitch Go-Go Bars in Nana Plaza, Bangkok and Walking Street, Pattaya were both decorated ready for Halloween earlier this week.  With a name such as ‘Angelwitch’ it comes as no surprise that Angelwitch Go-Go Bars really go for it.  There will be special shows from Friday night until Monday night for the benefit of those who are flying in and out of Thailand on various days.  Don’t worry, you won’t miss any of the scary fun!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN LAST ORDERS PLEASE

THAI GO-GO GIRLS, AFTER DARK ASIA

THAI GO-GO GIRLS, AFTER DARK ASIA

Time flies… Hey guys, there’s never a truer saying, especially when you are eating into the decades in your life. Another year has almost ended and I wonder where the past 12 months has gone. Furthermore, what an eventful year it has been for Thailand. We look on and wonder what 2009 will have in store for us all. I fear that it will be a slow start for Thailand’s tourism industry. But, ever the optimist, I think things will work out. It will take time, but people will get on with there lives and foreigners will return to Thailand. Just how many decide to visit Thailand throughout 2009 is unknown. Some people predict that Thailand might only receive 7 million foreign visitors in 2009, rather than 14 million. I cannot say how many of course, but I expect there will be more than the predicted 7 million visitors in 2009. Some people tend to underestimate how resilient Thailand is. Bangkok is the gateway to Asia and therefore receives the most visitors in the whole continent. To review the past year, you could call it a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly… (more…)

Celebrating Christmas In Bangkok

OOPS! IT’S NEARLY CHRISTMAS

Christmas is sneaking up on us very quickly and it has taken more than a few people by surprise. Chatting to Peter Stud last night, he said the same thing as me. Even though some department stores like Robinson’s, were fully decorated and playing Christmas carols since November, it just doesn’t feel like Christmas this year. Thailand’s political problems and especially the airport crisis has dampened the spirit somewhat. However, you can still enjoy Christmas in many venues right across Thailand. Below are some examples…

CHRISTMAS  BUFFET AT BOURBON STREET RESTAURANT

For those of you who are looking for a festive feast in Bangkok, then look no further than Bourbon Street’s fantastic “all you can eat” Christmas buffet.

BOURBON STREET LOCATION – 29/4-6 Sukhumvit Soi 22 (opposite Regency Park Hotel).

Here is Bourbon Street’s Christmas Buffet Menu

CHRISTMAS DAY IN WOODSTOCK BAR & GRILL

ANGELWITCH CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY

Once again both Angelwitch Go-Go Bars in Bangkok and Pattaya will host a Christmas Eve Party. There will be some special shows and sexy santas in the female form. Angelwitch in Nana Plaza will provide a complimentary buffet. Note that the free finger food will be served from about 9:00pm onwards. Enjoy!

Wishing You All A Merry Christmas…
