Big Night On Patpong This Friday

Wednesday, March 29th, 2017

This Friday, March 31st should be a good night to hit Patpong as there is the 10 Year Anniversary Party of The Strip Bar, the 11 Year Anniversary Party of BarBar Fetish Club and it is Dan’s Birthday Bash at Electric Blue.

I have also been hearing good things about the Dragon’s Head next to Foodland. The small venue, formally G’s German Restaurant, is now a live music venue hosting some really good bands.  They recently started doing Chinese Food from the Golden Bowl, which is well known and has all the classic Western Style Chinese dishes.   Craft cocktails and special imported beers are on offer, with Singha Draft Beer at just 69฿ before 9:00 PM.  This is a great place for guys who want to relax and not get hassled for lady drinks.

BarBar Fetish Club, next to The Strip, will be putting on some special shows and there will be a free glass of bubbly for patrons.  Bangkok legends like Dean Barrett will probably be around, as this club is well know among the old hands.

Apparently new carpet has been fitted and one, or two of the girls there at the moment are hotter than mustard. Check out Mai… What a cracker!!!

The Strip of course will be pumping it for their 10 Year Anniversary and my old mate and former co-owner Toby will  also be around.  There is a glass of bubbly on offer there for well wishers and it will be a chance to catch up with some old faces and Patpong regulars.

Dan’s Birthday Bash at Electric Blue has its own Facebook event so well wishers can check in and let them know you are coming. They are offering 10฿ Tequila Shots, which is a real bargain in this day and age, and  they will likely be pushing the boat out, so there should be a good lineup of talent at all the venues this Friday.

If you see a bald bloke with a camera  having a good time… It’s probably me 🙂

BIG FRIDAY (NO DRINKING SATURDAY)

Friday, August 5th, 2016

Tonight should be a big night around Bangkok as it’s now clear there will be a nationwide alcohol ban from 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 6th through until midnight on Sunday.  Some bars will open, but will not be allowed to serve alcoholic beverages and I have heard that this will be strictly enforced even in areas like Patpong, where it is normally more lenient.

Consequently, bars will be going hell for leather to make up for the loss of trade on what is normally the biggest night of the week.

On Patpong, Club Electric Blue is celebrating its 14 years on Patpong 2. Is it that long?  I remember when it was the old Rififi Bar. It will probably be absolutely packed with girls from their clubs in Pattaya,  the bosses and new manager should all be there. Also, there are 10 baht tequila shots and a roast pig.  Who would want to miss that?  Next to them The Strip bar should catch some of the overflow, as it has a  2-4-1 all night. With girls knowing Saturday and Sunday is closed, I would expect a good attendance of talent across town.

Rififi Patpong by Stickman Bangkok.

Not only  bars but clubs also  will be looking to go big guns tonight with parties planned at all the major clubs including Club Insanity and EQ on Soi Nana.

It should be a good night to be out and about in Bangkok and let’s face it, if you over do it at least you will have two days to recover!

Rock Nights At The Strip In Patpong 2

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

Rock Around The Clock! Down in The Strip Go-Go Bar located in Patpong 2, they are hosting 3 nights of classic rock music. So, for all you rock fans, head to The Strip on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd and get ready to rock. The Strip is located between Electric Blue and BarBar in Patpong Soi 2. Rock never dies!

Major Assets! Below is a video that I made of a sexy go-go dancer from The Strip Go-Go Bar. It is just over 3 minutes long and the rock song is by AC/DC. I think you will agree that she indeed has ‘Major Assets!’

PATPONG NIGHTSEEING TOUR – 26/04/2010

Despite the recent bomb blasts at Sala Daeng Skytrain Station, I decided a visit to Silom was long overdue.  I spontaneously felt I needed to go and report what was happening in Patpong. (more…)
