New Year’s Eve In Bangkok

Yet another year has raced by and New Year’s Eve is upon us. It leaves me wondering why the months fly by, as though we are in a time warp… Woosh!

It has been a year of mixed fortunes for me, you could call it the good, the bad, and the ugly! But, for the best part it has been good, especially towards the end of this year. My mate and popular Bangkok columnist Stickman said, ‘I really think 2012 is going to be your year Dave.’ Now that’s a nice thought and I hope Stickman is right. Hope you have a great year too Stick! Bangkok City Centre Will Not Be Flooded

BREAKING NEWS – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is confident that Bangkok’s city centre will escape the flooding. Flood protection barriers 2.5 metres high have been build around Bangkok to defend the city centre. (more…)

Jimmy ‘Whirlwind’ White Exhibition Night

This is a reminder about the Snooker Legends Exhibition Night featuring Jimmy ‘Whirlwind’ White and Tony Knowles this Saturday, September 17th. Tickets are still available and it promises to be an action-packed night of exhibition pool matches. The promoters are hoping to see at least one game of snooker and numerous games of pool, which will include trickshots.

This special Exhibition Night is hosted by The Ball In Hand Pool Club in the Rajah Hotel Car Park on Soi Nana, Bangkok.
