As you are probably aware, almost all of the bars and nightclubs are closed in Bangkok and Pattaya. This is to prevent the Coronavirus from spreading further. It’s probably wise at this stage but nobody knows how long the bars will stay shut.
However, certain pubs (but not all), can open until midnight. Three of them are The Game Pub (Sukhumvit Soi 9), The Oasis Pub (Soi Cowboy) and The Old English Pub (Sukhumvit Soi 55).
Last night I had an excellent Cheeseburger at The Game Sports Bar & Grill which is conveniently located next to the BTS Nana Skytrain Station. This is one of the few venues still serving booze.

This is so irresponsible of the bar owners to allow this. Just once I’d like to see them grow up and serve their city positively rather than boozing up their patrons and letting them scatter like roaches to spread their disease onto others. There is no cure for this virus, those infected are similar to a drunk driver in the UK slamming into a car with a family and killing them….the virus is a killer!! Unbelieveable stupidity by these owners.
