Something Sexy For The Weekend Part 4

Sunday, September 11th, 2011

Back by popular demand another edition of Something Sexy For The Weekend. Not to be confused with ‘dirty weekend’ which we know is what some guys will have in mind, when they view the photos of these veryHOTThai girls. The after hours action in Bangkok has been curbed lately by the early closing times and the annual monsoon which gave us another pounding on Friday. Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy seem to be weathering the storm and the popular beer bars and go-go bars have remained crowded. I urge you to check out DC10situated on the middle level inNana Plaza as that is now under new management. Also, for the die hard guys on a booze cruise it is worth noting that alcohol is still being served by the street vendors on Sukhumvit between Soi 3 and Soi 19. The pavement pubs are getting a boost from the enforced early closing.

Following alengthy drought Carlsberg Beer has returned to Thailand. Initially, Carlsberg is now available in draught form in a selection of pubsacross Bangkok and Pattaya. Pubs in Phuket and Koh Samui will receive Carlsberg Lager within the next couple of weeks. Unless beer bars and go-go bars are prepared to sell draught, you won’t find Carlsberg on sale just yet. World Cup – Argentina V Germany

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

FIFA WORLD CUP 03/07/2010- The stage is set for an exciting quarter final. At 21:00 Thai time, it is Argentina V Germany, which is followed by Paraquay V Spain at 01:00 hours. Although it is an unpredictableWorld Cup this year, I think Spain and Argentina will win. However, as we have seen sofar, anything could happen. Yesterday, Holland sent Brazil home in a surprise 2-1 result. Former World Cup winners France and Italy both crashed out very early, and pathetic England suffered their heaviest defeat in the history of the World Cup.

WEATHER WATCH – Heavy rainfall has hit Bangkok these past two nights, but the FIFA World Cup is definitely giving the bar tradein Thailand a much-needed boost.

Bangkok Curfew Lifted By Thai PM

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Thailand’s Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva announced this afternoon that the curfew has been lifted in Bangkok and 23 other provinces. Since May 14th, when clashes commenced between Thai security forces and’red shirt’ anti-government protesters, over 80 peoplewere killed and over 1,000 were injured. Thai PM Abhisit went on to say that the situation was under control and that there was no need to extend the curfew. Bangkok’s multitude ofbars, pubs and nightclubs now have to try toentice customers back, which initially might not be an easy task. The good news is that Bangkok is back open late again.Let’s hope that fromtonight we see a lot of people partying and perhaps blowing off some steam. It has been an anxious and frustrating period, butlaw and orderis now restored in Bangkok. Party on!
