Daily Drinks Deals

While the foreign exchange rates remain favourable to the strong Thai baht, drinking in Bangkok can seem expensive. Therefore, it is great to see special promotions in Bangkok’s go-go bars.

The Daily Drinks Deals at Mandarin Go-Go Bar and Mandarin Table Dance are excellent for variety and bang-for-baht.

Shown on the poster below, this is one of the best drinks promotions in Bangkok. The Daily Drinks Deals features different brands of spirits at just 99 baht all night every night. Enjoy!

Mandarin Go-Go Bars are situated on the Middle Floor in Nana Plaza.

NANA PLAZA – WELCOME TO THE NEON JUNGLE

img 5532s - Thailand Tonight - 07/04/2010

RAINBOW 4 GO-GO BAR, NANA PLAZA, BANGKOK

RAINBOW ROUNDUP – Continuing on our journey into the neon jungle, we decided to check out a couple of the Rainbow Bars.  Rainbow 1 was as lively as ever and the line-up remains for the best part very impressive.  Most of the go-go girls were sporting mono bikinis, but I spotted a few who were in their birthday suits.  Yes indeed, things have finally changed in Nana Plaza.  The gang decided to visit Rainbow 2, which is located next to Obsession Bar in the far right corner.  Rainbow 2 was never a favourite of mine, because I felt it never created the right atmosphere for Westerners.  The amount of open space is partly to blame, but the biggest reason is that it has remained a Jap Trap for many years.  However, things have changed and Rainbow 2 has become more farang friendly.  The stage was packed with go-go girls and the majority were facially and physically attractive.  These Rainbow bar girls know they are cute and sexy, I have never seen mirrors get so much attention! Later Closing Times Are Reinstated In Bangkok

After Dark Asia Volume 6 - Thailand Night FeverOnce again, later closing times have been reinstated across the nightspots in Bangkok.  While some people might not care either way, later closing times are essential for Bangkok’s nightlife industry.  Foreign visitors and expat residents alike want to go out and enjoy themselves.  Regarding the bar owners, less trading hours means considerably less takings.  It is no fun going along to your favourite bar only to see the boys in brown close it early.  Similar to any other country, the nightlife areas do not get going until later on in the evening.  Most people are looking to hit the town after their meal and some relaxation time.  We humans are such creatures of habit; we just won’t go out any earlier, no matter what time the bars close.  While Bangkok’s nightspots revert back to 2:00am closing, it’s evident that there is more on display in some of the go-go bars.
